ABOUT

The Papua New Guinea Table Tennis Association (PNG TTA) is the nationally recognized governing body responsible for the development, promotion, and administration of table tennis throughout Papua New Guinea. Working in affiliation with the Papua New Guinea Olympic Committee and international table tennis bodies, the Association oversees national competitions, athlete development pathways, coaching and officiating standards, and the selection of national teams for regional and international events. PNG TTA is committed to upholding the values of fair play, inclusivity, and excellence in all aspects of the sport.

PNG TTA plays a vital role in grassroots and community development by introducing table tennis to schools, communities, and provinces across the country. Through structured programs, workshops, and tournaments, the Association provides opportunities for young people to engage in sport, build discipline, and develop lifelong skills. Special emphasis is placed on youth and women’s participation, ensuring equal access and creating pathways for talented athletes to progress from local competitions to national representation.

With a clear vision for growth, the Papua New Guinea Table Tennis Association continues to strengthen its governance, expand its national footprint, and raise the standard of the sport nationwide. By fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders, sponsors, and government agencies, PNG TTA aims to elevate Papua New Guinea’s presence on the regional and international table tennis stage while inspiring the next generation of players, coaches, and officials.
